Yeah its pretty much impossible to sight fish while sitting in a kayak.

It looked like you were throwing a gold rush colored plastic. I've had some in my tackle box for a while but have had minimal success when I do throw them. Another question: why do you not like Zman? I almost exclusively throw them. I punch a hole in the tip with scissors in order to be able to get my jig head on securely. I pinch back and put a dab of glue on the retainer to keep the plastic secure. I've been able to use the same bait on multiple outings, and yes, I have caught some nice fish on them even when used multiple times.

@@johnkunzman7138 i just dont like having to do all that with the glue and what not. Something about those doa they love. Theres a reason they havent switch up anything in years

The redfish i got using live shrimp on a jig head. Zmann makes good baits i just hate the material they use. If im throwing a soft bait its usually a DOA cal 3" shad tail.

Great channel..do you use a swivel when attending your leader to your main line ?

Only in certain situations. Usually not though. I like a uni to uni for main line to leader connection

Pretty shallow lol 1.5 feet or less. I usually use the electric trolling motor but every once in a while il break out the pole and push.
