No both buttons just do the same thing.

Is this particular model being phased out? I cannot find the Lopro Mini laser, without the light in Black anywhere. No one has it.

I had a choice laser or both. I chose laser only . Simple is better . Hit the wrong button with N.V. blinded by the light. """Literally"" . I'm not running around the woods at night . And if I did I'd have a real flashlight. Or N.V. ! I'm not on a S.W.A.T. team and if I were I'd have a department P.E.Q. instead of a $150.00 Sightmark !!!!!! My Sightmark laser is the bomb , built like a tank and does exactly what it is suppose to do. It is metal not plastic like people say. It's solid. Well worth the $$$$ money. For $ 99.99 you cannot go wrong. The light on the combo isn't bright at all. I'd go laser only and if you want a real light , get one . The light on the combo is a joke and will just eat the battery up. So far I have # 2 Sightmark lasers on 2 of my Ar's , I plan on getting one for my shotgun and another for my AK . Can't beat them for the money. Also the optional switch only does the laser light combo , both buttons do the combo ,not one or the other. Just so you know

Agreed. I ended up getting the coyote brown because it was the only one I can find with just a laser. I do also have the black in the laser and light. But I don't use the light. I have a separate Streamlight weapon light that is considerably brighter.
