A series of rhythm exercises to practise sight reading in 3/4 time signature.
Each exercise repeats four times so you get an opportunity to improve your accuracy on each repeat.
As always, change the playback speed to make it easier or harder!
0:00 Level 1 - quarter notes, half notes, 8th notes
1:58 Level 2 - quarter rests, 8th rests
3:55 Level 3 - eighth triplets, syncopation, dotted quarters
6:05 Level 4 - ties
8:15 Level 5 - sixteenth notes

Any advice on correct sticking when mixing triplets and straight 8ths or 16ths?

For triplets I like to use single strokes as much as possible, which means you end up leading with your weaker hand sometimes. Experiment with different sticking though and see what makes you play most accurately. If another triplet sticking like RRL or RLL flows better, then do that.
