What a great little video a snap shot of a beautiful but tough life in stunning central Portugal which I've only in the last month have got to watching uploads about...but the farmers remind me of the farmers back in Britain when I was a kid back in the 1970s and some of my friends their grandparents had farms and farming back then in UK was more diverse there was dairy and arable farming and farmers had more horses on their farms and usually the farmer's wife would have chickens,geese and ducks and because many farms had small orchards mixed fruit trees some would keep bee's...I had some of my greatest memories when I was a kid being on my friends family's farms seeing cows giving birth and horses and seeing how they got honey from the hive to the glass jar and of course riding the tractors and playing in the hay barns usually with a massive rope swing great fun when children were allowed to have fun....I was watching a upload yesterday farmer for fun and his friend had bought a large parcel of land that also had 4 old mills and over 10 stone ruins buildings we got to see 2 of the old mills and they were amazing what a property...but loved the upload a slice of real Portugal 👍🤗....

Muito engraçado como foram parar holandeses ao Portugal escondido, às zonas rurais mais reconditas do país. Infelizmente muito do mundo rural está a desaparecer, espero que com a crise muita gente torne a voltar às terraz para não se perder a tradição agricola, gastronómica, vinicola, romarias e outras festas.

Such a lovely tiny, small grandma, fantastic! It's such a pity: when filming her, I - by accident - pushed on the 'rec'-button, so my camera came into the 'stop'-function, while I was thinking I was recording. What a 'disaster'! She was telling something about her rural life in that tiny village... I wish I got her on tape, but not...)-;
