Thank you, I really enjoy these road trips. I am curious to know what map references that you use, the trips would be difficult set up on a sat nav. I follow the progress of the drives on the open street map web site on my iPad. On occasions it is quite difficult to find the starting location in the town that you are starting from, and sometimes you turn up some side street in a town on the way, but that just makes it that much more interesting.
