Lötschberg is one of three steamboats on the two neighboring lakes. Blüemlisalp is a sisters-ship to the Lötschberg. The third steamer is Spiez a propeller steamer. It’s the oldest of the bunch, it began service 1901. The two big ones are about a decade older. In the beginning of your video Lötschberg passes the Jungfrau a Motorship of the fifties, also quiet an Oldtimer. But with most modern engine. It’s a Hybrid ship. It has a traditional Diesel engine and two e-Machines.

Thank you for taking us along for the ride. I've traveled much of hat route by motorcycle and have often thought about taking a boat ride - and thanks especially for the video of the engine. Can you tell me the approximate duration from Interlaken to Brienz? I suspect that it's a bit longer than the 35 minutes of your video.
