I’m very impressed with how Paddy is now going on adventures and then afterwards slicing them up and then creating whole story lines like a major tv production or movie. Don’t underestimate Brienz. It’s the capital of wood carving and nearby there is a park with traditional old houses from all over Switzerland, you can explore also the inside off the beautiful houses and can get a glimpse how the peoples life was in the past. You can see a chocolate factory from the inside too, it’s actually a working factory. There is a lot more to see, I think it’s the one of the kind place in the world 👀👀👀💯👍👍👍🇨🇭

It’s so beautiful it’s making me cry thinking about all the years wasted doing an office job I hate, when all I wanted to do was travel. I was like you when I was young backpacked all over, 67 countries then I stopped stupidly and then I couldn’t go back now old and tired and scared. But my heart wants that life so much it is broken to know it’s too late to have it. Never stop. You are so blessed you found a way to live and earn from doing what you love. Your videos are wonderful.

So many people think the water of Lake Brienz is photoshopped when they see pictures, happy you show it's not the case. It's just mindblowing how blue/green it gets. Please visit Montreux/Lavaux area next summer. Jazz festival is mostly free in July and a great time.

Just came from there recently about two weeks ago, it was the most stunning place, we stayed in Schwanden Bei Brienz a nice quiet suburb with friendly people and also highly recommend checking out Lauterbrunnen, such a cool place.

You were there just before the town was evacuated because of the impending rockfall. When it happened, the rocks ended just short of the town, but I don't know if the people are allowed back yet.

Hiya Paddy. Love the gorgeous boat ride. Switzerland is gorgeous. Every part of it. Gorgeous waterfall. Love the sound of the water. That bridge is epic. Love that you rinsed your head. The views of mindblowing. Thank you for the beautiful tour around. The one with the wheel is a Sternwheeler boat. They have one on the Thames in Windsor. That check-in time is a bit naughty. Maybe understaffed. The lady behind you. Recording you as you spoke about that. 😁 The gentleman with the beautiful house might enjoy people stopping and asking about his garden. Ah a good ole paddleboat. We used to have one on the river where I live but it was sold last year. It was a fun boat to ride on. The reason is by buying Swiss travel Pass, most transport is free or discounted. The ferries are paid already by many people. Museums are free too.

4:10 small Note: Lake Thun and Lake Brienz are connected by the River Aare (the longest River in Switzerland), which runs trough both Lakes. BUT: The Boats don't run trough, there are a Bunch of Low Bridges and Weirs. You can have a Daypass to go on both Lakes, but you'll have to either walk between Interlaken West and Interlaken Ost or take the Bus or Train. 12:00 "Circular Scoop Engine Things Boat" 🤣🤣🤣 aka "Paddlesteamer" It's the Lötschberg, buildt in 1914 by Escher-Wyss in Zürich and running since then with several Renovations and overhauls along it's Life.

Absolutely beautiful! I must go back and explore this stuff. Ridiculous. If you enjoy it there scenery wise you'd definitely love Norway. That place is like the Truman Show it's so unreal. So many people are put off by Switzerland for the prices, crazy thing is it's not that far off UK prices now & the views! They are free 🤩 Absolutely worth it I go every year. I don't recommend fare dodging tho! 😉

We were just there....i doubt you can call that a luxury Boat at Lake Brienz...hahahhaah Got to Schilthorn - Piz Gloria and take a few miles hike to Lake Bachalpsee. Don't forget Trümmelbach Falls in the Lauterbrunnen Valley- Unesco World Heritage site. Paddy you won't regret it.

Your ticket may not be checked but woe to the person who boards without a ticket and the conductor does check. Swiss fines are very serious, often over 200 franc. They’re very strict with these.
