Sigma 56mm F1.4 DC DN - Micro Four Thirds mount used on my G9

I have the Sigma trio in both MFT and Sony mounts. I love them on both systems but prefer them on MFT. The 56mm on MFT is very special.

The 30mm is also a great lens, to be honest the 30mm is more practical for me in the studio, I have today ordered the 16mm, hopefully this will be as good.

Yeah I'm considering this exact combo.. for talking head videos with blurry background (background being 1-2m away from me). I'm wondering how far away from my face the G9 with the Sigma 56mm should be to get a nice waist to head shot with nice blurry background. Will 2.5-3m suffice or will the crop be too big ? THANKS!
