Why is there no 400V version of the SGD7S Analog? My company had a reliable system using the Sigma 5 servos through analog control but are now left scrambling with rewriting our control system for one of the other forms of control moving to Sigma 7 in order to keep with the 400V power.

@@YaskawaAmerica We are anticipating Sigma7 eventually replacing Sigma5 entirely so do you think by the time that happens there could be a 400V version of the sigma7 analog? It would be great to continue using analog when sigma5 is no longer available.

Hi Yaskawa! I've been trying to get a definitive answer on whether a Sigma-5 motor is itself compatible with a Sigma-7 servopack. You seem to indicate in this video that it is, but I'm not sure if that's just the mounting and cabling that is compatible. Would love to know...

Hi @MastaRob, The Sigma-5 motor is compatible with the Sigma-7 servopack. The Sigma-5 motor can use its existing power and encoder cables.

How to clean off the cooling fan
