Sigma DR-41, Made in Japan 1980 - Acoustic Guitar Demo

After not being able to find any sound clips of guitars I have been looking for I decided to help others by at least put up the ones I have, so people can get a rough idea what they sound like. I'm playing the same thing in all clips to make it easier to compare them. This is not to show off my guitar skills, or lack thereof, but to give people an idea of how the guitars sound. There is a bit of Helplessly Hoping by CSN and some of my own songs, both finger picking and strumming. Everything is recorded without any effects on a Canon S95. I just bought my dr-41 about 3 weeks ago. I believe it to be a 1984. It is all wood not laminate back and sides. That surprised me. The grains match inside and out. The Dr-41’s are so nice wish I had another one. Paid 500.00 with a nice guild case. I got lucky

Yea, I love mine. I had about 15 different Japan made acoustics, mainly K. Yairi and Morris, and sold all of them except for my Sigma DR-41.

Well mine is 40 years old and made in Japan, I think the newer ones are made in China or Korea, but it's the same model.
