I would rather go with Sony but in Poland price difference is even worse 1400 USD vs 900 USD. So Sigma is going to be probably my new choice

I have the Sigma 28-70 F2.8 and was thinking of getting the Sigma 16-28 to complete a travel combo. But the Sony 16-35PZ + 85mm F1.8 might also be a very interesting travel combo - where the PZ can handle 85% of the work, and the 85mm could come in only for tele-photo portraits and some low light work. Still torn on which would be the better 2 lens travel combo.

The comparison we all needed! Thanks dude. I think after spending WAY too much time researching, the Sony is the way to go for indoor photography/videography. In most situations, I'll have key lights, etc. to make sure the lighting is on point, and I will never need to go past 3200 ISO, so the 2.8 aperture on the Sigma kind of becomes irrelevant. If I want bokeh, then I use my 70-200 or a 1.8 prime. And.. of course...the sony range is much better and more versatile with the PZ and the ability to control it externally.

Thanks for the video! Have you seen any pronounced vignetting issue at 16 mm for this Sigma lens?

From testing both lenses at all their focal lengths, (admittedly didn't do much pixel peeping), got to say I didn't notice any extreme vignette or too much warping with the Sigma.

The biggest advantage obviously is the 2.8 for the Sigma and the increased range for the Sony. I already have the big sony 2.8 and I wanted a smaller lens so I got the PZ. Im happy with the PZ.

Sony 16 - 35 looks good, and may be good pairing it with sony 1.8 G for asthro may be a good option. But the PZ on sony, i wonder about its longevity. I guess only time will tell. Sigma is a viable option too.
