@@jonbaxter2254 dude. CHILL. You seem to have misunderstood what I meant. Yes, Caesar did many great things (some bordering on genocide, especially in Gaul, but whatever), and was of great benefit to the common people of Rome, not to mention he reorganized the calendar. However, that should not let us blind to his clearly criminal actions, which were the reason why he crossed the Rubicon in the first place. Sigmar did no such thing (not to mention he didn’t throw his empire into civil war), so he’s a Caesar without most of the baggage. Actually, the more I think about it, the less similarities I see between the two…

Awesome documentary, the Sigmar trilogy is a great bit of lore from the old warhammer world. Keep the vids coming! I don't know about other folks but I can still remember (IIRC) when they played this whole story out as a campaign in the early 2000's. The results were averaged and that was where a lot of the minor wins/losses came from. The fluffy stuff they left to the writers, and of course the ending was always going to be the same but it was still really cool knowing we could influence the results of something big like an entire story narrative. Plus seeing the battles in person play out was really quite exhilarating.

Also, in the aftermath of the Battle of the River Reik between Sigmar and Nagash shown here, Sigmar would pursue Krell and the remnants of his Doomed Legion to the Battle of Glacier Lake where Sigmar would defeat and entomb Krell and his followers there until, centuries later, Heinrich Kemmler world arrive to resurrect to prop up his own flagging fortunes, when in reality he was merely guided there by Nagash to bring back an old commander of his. Oh and Alaric the Mad, the Dwarf Runesmith who was present at the River Reik, would create the twelve Runefangs, each to equip the twelve Elector Counts of the Empire.
