it’s crazy how they can learn to dance with the music when they are deaf

There are a lot of deaf people who are great dancers. First of all there is a spectrum for deaf people so some of them for example still can hear the music to a certain degree but not understand the words clearly. And a lot of deaf dancers orientate through the vibration of the music, like the bass. :)

As far as I know the members are not fully deaf but they all do have some kind of hearing impairment and one of the members got a cochlear implant

Beethoven used metal pipes to help him feel the vibrations from his piano, thus was able to continue playing after he became deaf

They could have some hearing in one ear or also feel the vibrations but yeah CIs can also give you some perception of sound (although it's not technically considered "hearing"). ~:~
