I was there, last night at the final show in The Beacon. I was 8th row center and she sang this right in front of me. None of us could believe what we were hearing. I've been a fan of hers since she debuted in the '90's. I've seen her and this band perform live maybe 30 times. This performance ranks as possibly the best I've ever seen her do, and one of the greatest vocal performances I've seen live from anyone. I was literally getting choked up as she sang it. And watching this video brings it all back.

Makes perfect sense. I've also seen them quite a bit over the years, including at the Beacon. Susan has the voice of an angel and the band is just on another level. Last show for us was on this Wheels of Soul tour and it was just magical. Year after year they just keep getting better.

I was there last night with my wife and son and his girlfriend. Wow!! What an incredible show from beginning to end!! I had chills and goosebumps last night, just like I did now listening to that song. Susan is such an incredible singer, Derek is phenomenal, the entire band was just insane!! O.M.G that was an incredible show! That was my favorite set so far, every time is a new experience, Every time we go it’s a different show that blows your mind!! Man I didn’t want it to end!! I was in the theater for this performance and it was incredible!! I had never heard that song and after hearing her sing that I instantly loved it! The Tedeschi Trucks Band is one of the those concerts you go to and it’s unforgettable, I’ve been to see them at the beacon theater many times and every show is a different show and every one is incredible! I’m 49 and was introduced to them by my son and they quickly became one of my favorite bands. I put them up there with Pink Floyd , BB king, Steve Ray Vaun, The Allman Brothers! They deserve to be up there with the most iconic, greatest bands of all time!! I know every time they are in NYC, I get chills just thinking about it! I know I’ll be there with my family enjoying every minute!! Thanks so much Tedeschi Trucks Band! ( sorry for the double comment, I forgot that I watched this and already left a comment) I happened to come across this and had to listen to it again, it just one of those songs that evokes emotion!
