Well, an assault rifle doesn't exist in Signalis, but given the Nation in the game is basically East Germany recycled in space, I'd imagine it'd be heavily based on an AK-74.

Depending on dialect, I've heard it pronounced about every way between fleh-chet and fleh-shay. It's a French root word so I'm certain the E on the end is silent.
