This is a first rate interview - I would say amongst the best of the crowded field of royal observers. Tina Brown is articulate, measured, insightful and entertaining, all at the same time. I agree with the comment that people like Oprah, Gayle King and Tom Brady should watch this and learn from Tina.

Harry trying to circumvent his father about Megxit shows how duplicitous he is. Oprah, Gayle & Tyler should watch this. And I love Tina’s thoughts of William & Kate. They are perfect, but they need to open themselves up more. On another note, Tina Brown needs her own podcast & YT channel. Her research and insights are endlessly fascinating.

Tina Brown seems to ignore that as Brits, all the drama with Harry and his wife has made us appreciate the stability we get from 'no fuss William and Catherine' much more. We do not want our Head of State which William will be, to be compared to a Kadashian or a reality star. We want a Head of State who not only respects themselves but also we can respect.

It was Harry´s responsibility to protect Thomas Markle. Why didn´t Harry make an effort to meet Thomas Markle before the wedding?

I agree. It was lazy on his part, and showed a lack of character. It’s the respectful thing to do.

Nothing to admire in what they’ve done.

Harry is doomed to be secondary. If it was a kinder family, why not just be a little bit nicer to their secondary member. Harry may not be smart to help himself become the winner in the situation, but what impression I got is British royal family are petty mean-spirited snobbish people who don’t know how to be loving and kind to their own lesser members, especially Prince William who has all the privileges and advantages of being future king, but he lacks a kinder heart for his younger vulnerable brother. Based on what I read William has been harsh, mean….towards Harry. This is the yardstick I will always use to measure William’s character. So far not very good.

William and Kate don’t want competition Meghan’s mother wasn’t a “problem “ like her father The crown is just as any other hermetic society- they don’t want outsiders- much less someone like Meghan- we already know how they feel about Americans, tb actresses, divorced women, …. it’s a very strong class system

Megan showed no respect with her father nor Harry even displayed that, behaviourally, they both will never show respect to the Royals, only themselves matters

I admire Tina Brown on many levels but she’s out of touch re Harry, his wife and their dire relationship with the British people. Meghan was an independent, career woman? Really? She was 7th on the call sheet of a cable tv show for Godssake … As for attractive and gracious - you just spent went into great detail about how clueless and rude she is!! Tina is also totally wrong about who, apart from journalists, care about lying and deception. Of course, the majority of the general public object to the constant lying and deception by Harry and his wife. It’s an insult to the intelligence aside from anything else.
