This song I just heard on Christian radio late this afternoon when I was feeling sad about losing my dear cousin, Bobby Engemann, who passed yesterday. I was feeling so sad that I was ill & never got to call him on the phone or send him a Christmas card with a tract I had bought to send him. And then I heard this beautiful, comforting arrangement with the deep, beautiful bass voice reminding me how my grandpa, my father and my son and husband all have sung bass like this)..runs in the family.

This is a good version, I still don't think anyone does it better than the Perry's ... I am not a huge fan of Ernie Haase, but they do it ok ... Awesome message though, I get a little emotional listening to it no matter who is singing ... Thanks for posting

The Perry's are good...but this group is the best around...

I'm always loathe to label ONE group the best. For me The Gaither Vocal Ba d is ALWAYS sublime, but I absolutely love the family harmony you get with The Isaac's, The Martin's, and The Collingwood Family. A family singing in harmony has a certain quality that others don't. Which does not mean other groups are not ALSO outstanding. But in the long run it's all a matter of taste.

These guys do an excellent job on this, but to me this is the Perrys’ song. Specifically the Loren Harris version circa 2004. SS is technically perfect on this, but when the Perry’s do it you just feel it down deep.

The Perrys chop the arrangement around too much and you dont get a chance to hear the power of the message.......Signature Sounds version flows far better and is far more tuneful, clear and harmonious...........
