For people who didn't watch this race on TV. It was epic, w/ cold rain, wind & attacks. The stars of the peloton quit, too cold & difficult didn't want to lose their chances for liège-bastogne-liège. Congrats Stevie, you really deserve it!

Love that he hit the finish line before taking his hands off the bars. Every rider should be doing this. So cool to see Stevie get this win!

My favorite kind of race. Lots of geographic challenges and cool or cold rainy and snowy weather to test everyone. What a great finish to a great race! Congratulations, Williams!

Unbelievable commentary, how is Matt Stephens not the main commentator at every race.

Coming from Mid Wales, you're used to that type of weather.......

Let's be real though. A lot of guys who finished come from places where April weather is pretty hard. Belgians, Dutch, Northern France, and I think a couple of Norwegians were up there...

That's the way to attack. Lay off hit the front of the group going max speed so nobody can get on the wheel. Old school tactics.

Yep!! Absolutely old school!! FULL ATTACK GOING ALL IN from behind!!! 🤘🏻🏴

I was like, wow, what an attack! The race up the Mur de Huy had all the the hallmarks of an uphill bunch sprint until Williams had the courage to launch. And launch he did.

10 minute video, surely you could have given us more than 500metres of racing?

It's Fleche; there's only 500m of racing to see.

@@Sendo8 But more seriously, the only thing that matters in this race is the last climb. Least interesting off all the traditional Classics.

This isn't the highlight video. This is just the video of the finish. Also this race is all about the mur de Huy. That's all this race is really about. The rest of the race is almost pointless. Not really but everyone wants to see the battle on mur de Huy 🤘🏻🏴

Brutal pedal stroke by Stephen Williams. It's not how much power you have, it's how long you can maintain it. I'm not surprised that UAE supposedly has the strongest team but wins practically only with Pogačar. (2 Ayuso, 1 Hirschi...I think)

You clearly haven't been watching a lot of pro cycling this season ..have a quick search of UAE winners in 2024 and you'll find a few newbies proving their worth.

Good win. Just a shame he is riding for Sportwashing, genocidal Israel cycling. Cycling has become the go to sport for Sportwashing countries and greenwashing companies.
