But the objective was pro contract. He signed a semi-pro contract, he had quite a few of these before. So you can't really say he has made it. You could say that it the right move as he was not getting game time at the Bay but at best Welsh tier 1 to NI tier 2 is a sideways move

On instagram it says 365 days to a pro contract- so this is still an aim. The goal is play professional for a few months then go back to semi-pro. . The stadium reflects their past not what they are now, while big it also looks run down. There attendances are modest, last year 889 (in tier 1) but this year it be about 500 as the big games against Linfield etc are gone.. According to UEFA co-efficient the Welsh league is 52 out of 55 in Europe. the NI Is 42 but he now in tier 2 not tier 1, so its a sideways step. Ok the club may have potential but this would staying for longer than he ever he stayed a club as a adult. I doubt there be 10000 at the final and also given he was unused sub for first game lets see if he actually plays

@@pegobrown9204 That’s just how it is at low level clubs. They keep a handful of players at most because they can’t afford to renegotiate contracts and wages with the same players year to year. They only make exceptions if the player is pretty much carrying that team. That’s why you see pro players on KZbin looking for new contracts every offseason. They wouldn’t put themselves through that risk and play for similar level clubs if they were able to stay where they’re at

I also had a dream once of becoming a soccer player when I was 21 now I'm 30 and I've given up on it cuz here in us there was just way too much competition and many player who even made it to the top were like the hard work isn't worth it like if they would have put in that amount of hard work in Europe they might woulda even got into teams like chelsea or any other big team plus also not many people showed up in soccer matches until now when these european faces started playin in the mls in our country.

Playing for champions league clubs like Chelsea requires a mix of talent, hard work & talent. Even Cristiano Ronaldo admitted that playing at the highest level is like winning the lottery. Brandao’s not making a whole lot of money but at least he’s still chasing the dream.

95% of footballers are amateur and earn nothing from playing. If you semi-pro your in the top 5%. That a achievement but I feel in video he deliberately tries to give the impression he signed a full pro contract but a semi-pro part time gig (see title)

Semi pro is not that hard to get into, in fact its easy if youre half decent, all this top 5 nonsense is just rubbish because it doesnt mean or prove anything

@@pacyguy7144 But 2 million people play football every week in the UK. I not really sure how many semi-pro footballers there are. I say players in top 6 tiers of non-league will earn something. As leagues are regionalised at this level 6 tiers might mean about 30 leagues- not sure. 20 teams a league, 20 players a league. 12000 players (national league will be full time), add another 2000 or so league pros. That about 14000 out of 2 million. You got have something to play at this level. Either be technically good, very fast or in Brandeo case freakish tall and effective in the air. If he was 5'11 he be playing for his local pub.

Also semi pro starts at step 7, goes down to 6,5,4, until national league or league 2, go on youtube watch these steps the quality is shambolic just overwelght pub players hoofing the ball up, that type of semi pro is rubbish and nothing to boast about. Serious non league football starts at step 4 to step 3
