“Marriage isn’t hard, but life is” I absolutely love this

And marriage is a part of life, just like every thing else some people do some don't. why make such a big issue. people were married for 1000s generations why after feminist movement they feel so empowered that they break their own families for whatever reasons and if u are married ur partner is major part of your life. you shouldn't compare it with your business. even if ur business generate billions. its bad manners, its shows their up bring and newly obtained wealth bcos people with generational wealth doesn't act like these.

Brooklyn and Bailey’s stalker stories as minors is a testimony to how INCREDIBLY dangerous the internet is for children! I commend you Matt and Abby for giving your children privacy and respecting them as people. I hope your podcast guests and influencer friends can do the same and protect their children.
@kermitthefrog231111 ай бұрын
Matt and Abby have not taken down content with their oldest in it. There are hundreds of hours of video still up that are earning money. So I’m not convinced they care that much. If they really wanted to protect their kids’ privacy, they would take down ALL content with the kids in it. What’s ridiculous though is that the internet is forever so even when content is “taken down”, it’s still out there because anyone can screen share, download, etc. A digital footprint is very hard to erase once it’s put out there. That’s why it shouldn’t be put out there in the first place

Growing up, my mom had trouble sleeping, and throughout my childhood, one of the ways I helped her sleep was by braiding her hair. Over time, I noticed that braids that took a longer time to finish were more effective, so I learned all the types of hairstyles I could from Cute Girls Hairstyles. I'm 19 now, and it's still one of the things me and my mom bond over. Just the other night, she shyly asked me if I could braid her hair just like I did before, because I've been away from home due to college. Thank you so much for bringing me and my mom closer, Mcknight fam. And Brooklyn and Bailey, thank you for allowing me to grow up alongside you and your videos. It gets better and is totally worth it.

I have always said this! Me and my husband have been together for 8 years and married for 3 and imo life is SO HARD but marriage is not - I think it's all about finding the right person for you and doing your best to stay respectful of your partner and give them grace, the benefit of the doubt, and freedom to be their own person. Marriage requires a lot of trust in every area and if you don't have it, it will be very hard.

For anyone who is against a prenup, think of it this way… you’re agreeing to the state’s laws for a “prenup” automatically by default when you get married. So you ARE agreeing to a set of terms, should divorce happen- you just don’t get to choose those terms. Makes sense to me to choose your own terms that work best for you!
@lilleoelle11 ай бұрын
But if you go into a marriage with divorce already on the table.. you’re gonna be more likely to get divorced.
@heyimdani569011 ай бұрын
@@lilleoelle that’s not true at all… they literally own their own businesses and Dakota owns some… IF that happened they want to protect their own business. Bailey and Asa have been together for YEARS. I don’t think they’ll divorce. so IF! HYPOTHETICALLY!! If it were to happen. You have rules set in place so you don’t get screwed over. If you go about life with that mindset you aren’t getting very far. Have you ever heard of people can have their own things but still be understanding and respectful of their partner! that’s how relationships work.
@Katt_Dubbs11 ай бұрын
@@lilleoelle Not true at all. It's better to develop divorce terms when you're happy then when you're no longer amicable. It's literally in place for the worse case scenario in the event it unfortunately happens. Doesn't mean it ever has to 😊
@AngelaMastrodonato11 ай бұрын
@@lilleoelle that was always my concern with them but I can see how they make sense in some situations. Their prenups at least expire. Something I never understood about them is, a fair one will still split any assets accrued during the marriage down the middle and only assets brought into the marriage should return to the original owner. This would make sense if someone divorced after only 2 years, and one person brought $100,000 to the marriage and the other person brought -$20,000 to the marriage, and during the marriage their combined assets grew to $110,000, there’s no way the person who married with -$20,000 deserves half of that after only 2 years of marriage. However, let’s say someone divorced after like 25 years. At that point they had been married more of their adult lives than not and who brought what to the marriage becomes irrelevant and assets absolutely should be split, especially if the both had $0 to their name. It doesn’t matter who earned what. Possibly one person earned more at one point then they switched places over 25 years. After all that time, in similar circumstances, no one was marrying to go after the others money only to leave them high and dry, there were other issues. So I didn’t realize prenups could expire. They make sense if there is a big difference in assets between the two and they expire.

I think there is a difference between marriage being hard, and marriage being hard work. I think, hard, feels like you are just coasting and going through the motions where as hard work implies that you are putting in the work to make sure the other is happy. I think that differing opinions between spouses would fall under hard work. So I personally think that marriage is hard work, especially when you start to add other elements to a marriage, like children. I personally feel like marriage is supposed to be hard work, because I think it means that you are evolving as individuals, as well as evolving together.

yeah.. but the are both relatively new to marriage and didn't probably have to face many challenges yet. I'm not married, but I imagine it does get harder over time. Prioritising time with your partner once you have kids, or maybe deciding where to move to, if you get different career oppurtunities, or navigating a serious illlness. I understand the core values should stay the same, but that does often times they are overlooked or abandoned completely, once the couple is actually in a difficlut situation
@sophia3609 Жыл бұрын
Again, it comes down to how you and your partner approach marriage. I’ve been married for a significant amount of time and we have been through some incredibly hard situations so I can speak to it. You’ve got to be team players and want to create a life together. If so, all those issues that come up become an us vs the problem scenario and you do what’s best for the unit. If one partner is not as committed to what marriage requires and decides to be selfish then you for sure can run into problems, hence find the right partner!

@@LeahMarie0924I think it was Ryan that was the other twin. They said their 18 year old sister. Rylan’s 18 and Kami’s 20. :) but I’m not positive!

I love all of these couples. I definitely feel the "marriages are no hard comment." For me as well, it's the day to day life stuff can be difficult but choosing to be in the relationship, for me, is not hard. There are tough moments for sure but I wouldn't let those moments categorize the entire relationship as hard.

My mother didn’t take my dads last name which CONVINCED my 5th grade teacher they were divorced so she forced me to go to this “divorced parents” therapy group. I told multiple times they weren’t divorced. The school counselor was confused lol

Yay on both hyphenating! We did that as well. I wanted to hyphenate because I didn’t want to give up mine, but I wanted to take his. I told him what I wanted, and he wanted to be a unit, so we both went through the name change. Thankfully it’s also not a mouthful to say because both our original last names were one syllable each. In Jewish weddings, both parents walk the respective half of the couple down the aisle. I saw it more as a thank you for raising me and supporting me moment.

“Question for the guys, Is it not weird to be married to someone who has a twin?…I think Abby is so attractive but if she had a twin, I feel that would throw me off so hard” Matt please listen to what you really asked here - that’s just weird and to say that in front of your wife is flat out disrespectful.

This was such a good podcast to watch. I’ve been a CGH follower since the early early days and been following B&B for a long time that a lot of the things they said, I was very familiar with. But still appreciate this episode because it’s more conversational than the videos they make. 🥰 bravo to you Matt and Abby 👏🏼
