That is not the way to do it! You are changing the Blade Holder settings every time that you replace the blade! You never move the silver part unless it is for changing the blade calibration (Adjustment). In the bottom part of the Mimaki blade holder SPA-090 has a black cap, that black cap is the one that you remove from the blade holder, make sure that you always hold the blade holder from the black areas (Never the Silver parts). In case that it has some vinyl residual on the blade holder and/or on the inside of the cap clean it and make sure that the blade is free to spin before you place back the cap. IMPORTANT - Make sure that the O-ring that holds the cap from moving it is placed after the tread inside the grub, be gentle with it when you screw in the black cap. In case that you moved the silver part you can calibrate the blade exposure using as a template the thickness of an Starbucks gift card.

I have a problem with my blade, it just go through the blade holder, so when I put the black part there´s no blade at all no matter how much I twist it. Any advice?. Thanks in advance

Sounds like you may need a new blade holder as it should hold the blade in place for you to then apply the cap
