I am post bi lateral TKR 6 weeks, and noticed some discharge oozing out of the Suture site of my left knee ...hopefully it is superficial and does not turn to be systemic one .My doctor has still put me on an antibiotic course , to be on the safer side and ordered certain blood tests ...my pro calcitonin test is normal. May I seek some explanation and help on above condition of mine please

If it's just a little red around the wound but it isn't spreading, is it going to heal ok? I just got my stitches removed yesterday and there is some red around it.

I have a cut on my leg and it started getting red around the edges and i was scared bc ive never seen mine do that so I put hydrogen peroxide on it, it seems to have helped. The redness went away soon after

I think i need to switch doctors. He told me is was infected then took the scab off. That just caused it to grow and when i told him it hurt. He said infected wounds dont hurt.
