“So YOU, also, when YOU see all THESE THINGS, know that He is near, at the door.” (Mt. 24:33) On the mount of Olives, Jesus spoke with John, James, Peter and Andrew, pillars in the early church (Mark 13:3). He addressed them as “you,” but as He continues talking, it is obvious that He goes beyond them to a future generation of believers who will “see all these things,” which are the end time events of the tribulation period (Mt. 24:5-30). At this time the church will be hated, persecuted and killed for Christ’s namesake (Mt. 24:9). Furthermore, many will fall away from the faith (24:10), but those who endure to the end will be saved (24:13). These three passages speak of the church, not Israel. Those who claim Jesus is speaking about Israel need to reconcile these three passages with that.

@@georgee1405 Study these points out georgee: In life, I routinely have to make sense of problems that arise to which there are no clearly defined solutions. To be able to do this is a gift I’ve received from God. I think this approach is needed in attempting to solve what appears to be the biggest riddle of Christian eschatology. I do believe the timing of the Time of Trouble and the 70th Week of Daniel is the number one cause of deception we are warned of so many times in the New Testament. Daniel 7:25, is the only place that the phrase, “a time and times and the dividing of time” actually can be translated to literally mean 3 1/2 years. And, it is describing the length of time the beast that ascends out of the earth will have to overcome the saints. It is describing a future event from today. The other two places this phrase occurs, describing the time of trouble, Dan 12 and Rev 12, it does not translate as 3 1/2 years. Look it up. I have written a paper entitled “The Great Tribulation - How Long?” In it, I show the Bible verses that describe events of the Great Tribulation. It started at the resurrection of Jesus Christ and will be finished at the 7th Trump. Furthermore, consider the following concerning the 70th Week of Daniel: The word, ‘week’, is not ‘seven’. ‘Seven’ is ‘seba’. ‘Seventy’ is ‘sib im’. ‘Week’ is ‘sabua’. I believe ’cycle’ would be a better translation of the word ‘sabua’. Sometimes the cycle is 7 days. Sometimes it describes a woman’s cycle. Sometimes, as in the first 69 weeks of Daniel’s prophecy, it describes 7 year cycles. How long is the Sabbatical cycle of Jesus Christ? Well, it started at His resurrection and continues until the sounding of the 7th trumpet. So one might ask, what difference does that make? A lot. It takes away the silly notion that a prophecy given with regard to days equals years. If God would have meant years, the Word would say years. In Daniel 12:11 ”And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.” The daily sacrifice was taken away in 70AD. 1290 days after that the abomination was set up. And guess what, Jesus said the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, would be in Jerusalem and if they were there they better get out. Christians did and were spared. Pharisees made their last stand at The Siege of Masada, and that “head of the beast” was wounded to death by the sword. Now, they are coming back today. That wound will be fully healed, and the whole world will be watching and wondering when the second beast comes up out of the earth, performs fire coming down from heaven, and demands everyone worship the Pharisee’s ways. I'll tell to Read The Bible 1 to 6 hours Every day If possible. Do NOT read any Commentaries or other books or Listen to TV Preachers, Pastors or others. If you do, The word will be contaminated with their Teaching. If they are Washed by The Blood of The Lamb, they are Baptized with The Holy Spirit. The Return of Yeshua What does scripture say about how He will return? Daniel 7:13 “I was watching in the night visions, and behold, One like the Son of Man, coming with the clouds of heaven! He came to the Ancient of Days, Revelation 1:7 “7 Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen” Also see Matt 24:30 and Mark 13:26 Scripture concerning when? Daniel is told that he will rest until the end of days. Daniel 12:13 13 “But you, go your way till the end; for you shall rest, and will arise to your inheritance at the end of the days.” John 6:40 “40 And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.” Also John 6:44 and 54. No one will be resurrected or changed in the twinkling of an eye before the last day. When will the last day be? Matthew 24:29-31, All people, dead or alive will see Him coming, not as a lamb but as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. At this point the remaining remnant of Jacob will see the One they have been waiting for…but…they will now KNOW this is Yeshua their Messiah whom they rejected and will sorrowfully mourn as for an only son or as grieves for a first borne. Finally, they will understand. The fullness of the Gentile saints will have to be just before or at the moment Jacob realizes Yeshua is their Messiah…as they see and hear His return…they will all (the remnant) be saved according to Romans 11. John MacArthur says the rapture is “clearly a singular event.” “It is the moment when the phrase in Romans 11 is fulfilled, the fulness of the Gentiles.” “When the church is full. When the last elect person believes.” “The rapture is triggered. We won’t know who that person is.” “All the redeemed will be removed.” MacArthur is wrong because even if his rapture belief was true, the “tribulation saints” would be mostly Gentiles, so the last Gentile to trigger the rapture wouldn’t be the last to be saved. Last means last. Gentiles will have the opportunity to believe in Yeshua until Jacob believes…when they see His appearing. Note on MacArthur’s church theory, Revelation IS NOT about the church. His believing that the NT is about and is directed to the church is also wrong, that’s replacement theology. But, let’s suppose MacArthur’s belief is correct. What constitutes the church? A congregation/assembly of believers and saints. Where do they come from? John 6:44 “44 No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him…” Yahweh has to call men. Men accept or reject Yahweh’s call. Those who accept are now believers and part of His church. Yeshua’s church is who? Romans 12: 4/5 “4 For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, 5 so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another.” Also see Colossians 12. Also look at Galatians 3: 26-29 and Colossians 3:11 and 12. Ephesians 1: 22/23 “22 And He put all things under His feet and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, 23 which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.” There is one congregation/assembly/church/body! This includes “all Israel” being saved and therefore part of His body. The pre-tribulation rapture says the church is removed before the beginning of the last seven years. Many will also say that during this time the church is present at the marriage supper of the Lamb while Israel, those who become believers (tribulation saints) and all who reject Christ face Satans wrath and tribulation… of which has never been on the earth. Matt 24:21. This will mean that Yeshua has stepped out on the clouds, gathered to himself the dead in Him and those alive, and being God, will knowingly leave those who his Father, Yahweh will call during the tribulation and are also now part of His church/body. Part of His church/body will not be in heaven celebrating the marriage supper of the Lamb while another part is suffering, enduring to the end, and being refined as pure gold! No one is gathered to Him until we all are!

If Paul were here today, he would CORRECT the pre-trib teaching. It's interesting when people read 2Thes 2:3 They completely ignore the second half of the verse. That DAY (Rapture) shall NOT COME until the man of sin (Antichrist) is REVEALED. This means VISIBLY. So, how can the rapture happen BEFORE this REVEALING? If people would study their bible, rather than take MANS word for the truth, they would not be deceived. To God be the Glory.

Hi Mark, I think a big part of the problem is people are using slang terms that can be misinterpreted. This is a method of deception, of which we have been warned. I think, "that man of sin, the son of perdition" is the same as the tares. But in the case you cite, I believe it is the Catholic Pope. He is anti-Christ, but I would not call him "The Anti-Christ." As a matter of fact, the Bible doesn't identify even Satan as the Anti-Christ. The Papacy has done all of the evil foretold of in Daniel. It is important to first establish the facts. The "time of trouble", a.k.a. The Great Tribulation is not a future event. If you look up the word 'tribulation' you will find that it is described in future tense prior to Jesus' resurrection, and present tense after His resurrection. I have seen many youtube hirelings preach this; first God removes His Holy Spirit from his Bride, and the earth. ( 2 Thess 2;7-8) He then reveals the Antichrist, and allow him to kill, persecute, and destroy his Bride, whom he died for ( Revelation 13;7, 14;12-13) and after many of them has been killed, persecuted, tormented, imprisioned, and beheaded; the left overs He will rapture at the midpoint of the tribulation. Now they believe this nonsense because the NEVER studied the Parable of the foolish virgins, who were christians in the church but they were not sealed with the Holy Spirit, so when He comes for the Bride they shall remain because they had no oil in their lamps. They were NOT SEALED with the Holy Ghost of Fire. And it's them who shall not be caught away, and they shall become the Tribulation Saints. and they will wake up from their slumber, and believing false prophets; for some of them, their names are written in the Lambs book of Life, so they shall not take the mark of the beast into their bodies neither worship him.

No that's not true at all all Christians will be raptured before the tribulation because when we get rapture we're going to stand in an event called the judgment seat of Christ don't forget us Christians will also be judged by Jesus too.

( You trusted in christ after you heard the Gospel, the word of Truth, the Gospel of your salvation, and after you have believed, you were SEALED with the Holy Spirit of Redemption. (1 Ephesians 1;13) did Jesus not say if you are not SEALED with the Holy Word of God, and His Spirit, you shall NEVER enter the Kingdom of God. (John3; 5) did not Jesus teach that the way to Salvation, is Narrow, also Hard and there are FEW who finds it?? (Matthew7;14) you have to start studying the WORD so you may be approved by God and stop listening to False Ministers, who are more worried about how much you give to them rather than your Salvation, i came here to just say the Truth, Gods Literal, Absolute Truth

If a person is a Biblical Christian, they are born again and anyone who is born again at the time of the rapture (or when they died) is taken up in the rapture. 'The dead in Christ will rise and we ehovremain shall be caught up with them'. Those who say they are Christians but miss the rapture were or are not truly Christians at that time. Maybe they were false converts, perhaps they were once born again but had departed from the faith and for whatever reason.

⁠ Post Trib rapture is based on scripture. PreTrib rapture is based on conjecture, speculation and misinterpretation of Scripture. Rapture is posttrib and It’s not really debatable. Here are some irrefutable truths. 1. The rapture is AFTER the resurrection. 1 Thessalonians 4. Dead in Christ shall rise first. 2. Jesus said the resurrection is on ‘THE LAST DAY’ over and over and over in John 6. That is the last day of the age of grace. The last day of life without Christ. The last day of the church age. The last day of the New Covenant. The next day starts the millennial kingdom. If the resurrection is ON THE LAST DAY obviously then this means that the rapture is on the last day since the RAPTURE IS AFTER THE RESURRECTION. The rapture is on the last day. 3. The resurrection / rapture is in Rev 20:4. Here we find ‘the last day’. John says he saw the dead come to life. This is the resurrection of the dead in Christ and the rapture is right after it. The rapture is post trib. It is AFTER Rev 5-19. The church goes THROUGH the tribulation. We will not experience Gods wrath just like Israel did not experience Gods wrath when God punished Egypt. And Noah didn’t experience Gods wrath when He flooded the whole earth, but Noah was preserved THROUGH the flood. Not raptured out of it. Israel was not raptured out of Egypt. God will test the church. He will have a pure spotless bride for His Son. Any other position other than a posttrib rapture twists and distorts Gods Word. And then there’s Jesus’ message in Matthew 24:29-31 “But immediately AFTER THE TRIBULATION of those days……..And then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, ………….And He will send forth His angels with a great trumpet and THEY WILL GATHER TOGETHER His elect from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other. ------ Jesus Himself says that He is coming back for His church and will gather it immediately AFTER the tribulation. How can it get ANY CLEARER???? Stop with this false doctrine of a PreTrib rapture. The doctrine of escapism has to be exposed and refuted by the word of God. Too many people planning their escape instead of filling their lamp with oil. Having said this, in Rev 3:10 God promises to keep those who have proven their faithfulness from the hour of testing. Knowing that be so faithful that God keeps you from the tribulation. Remember this promise of Christ is to only ONE of the seven churches in Revelation. One. There are letters to SIX other churches. And remember this verse. Revelation 13:7 It was also given to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them, and authority over every tribe and people and tongue and nation was given to him. -- God will give Antichrist power to persecute and kill His saints. Sounds crazy but that’s His plan. Don’t let people tickle your ears with anything that’s not the truth. 2 Timothy 2:15 Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth. Read your Bible. Test your teachers. Reject false teachers. Endure to the end and you will be saved. That’s a promise from God.

"This generation" is the people to whom Christ was addressing; they were sitting and standing in front of him. We cannot insert ourselves into the text as if he was talking to us; this would make the text fiction. Generation in Matthew: Matthew 3:7 But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come? Why is John telling them to run from the wrath of God if it did not apply to them? It did apply to them, within 40 years. Matthew 11:16 But whereunto shall I liken this generation? It is like unto children sitting in the markets, and calling unto their fellows. Is Christ talking about a 2,000 year removed people? Absolutely not, this generation is standing in front of him. Matthew 12:34 O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. Christ is saying the same thing John was saying; who are they speaking to? Not us today, they were speaking to the people standing in front of them. Matthew 12:39 But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas: Who just asked him for a sign? A man standing in front of him. Christ was referring to some distant 2,000 year removed generation? How foolish to assume this man was not part of "this generation" to whom Christ was speaking. Matthew 12:41 The men of Nineveh shall rise in judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: because they repented at the preaching of Jonas; and, behold, a greater than Jonas is here. Nineveh repented at the preaching of Jonas, but the Pharisees and Sadducees who lived in Jerusalem would not repent, thus, they were about to suffer wrath. Matthew 12:42 The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for she came from the uttermost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon is here. She gave Solomon great gifts, loaded down on camels, and was more righteous than the current apostate priesthood, which is about to be destroyed. Jocephus tells us the table of shew bread represented the zodiac and the curtain/veil was made in Babylon. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation. Who is Christ talking to? The generation standing in front of him. Who was seeking a sign? Us today? No The people standing in front of Christ asked for the sign. Matthew 17:17 Then Jesus answered and said, O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him hither to me. Who is Christ with? Who is the you? Again, the people standing in front of him. Matthew 23:33 Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell? Who is Christ addressing? Us? Not even close. All of the wrath and tribulation was for that first century generation. Unless you're willing to call Christ a liar. Matthew 24:34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. Christ was sent to fulfill the law. What did the law say? Greetings, agree, the scriptures are wonderful. However, if someone teaches them out of context, as with this video, teaching against what Christ said, thus the reason the multiple references to "generation" in Matthews' gospel was sent, so people will know what is true. Christ was very specific that he would return in the lifetime of his audience. Every New Testament author told their immediate audience they would witness the resurrection/revelation of Jesus Christ. your friend

Greetings, this is a man's doctrine. Look up the word generation in every scripture verse in the gospel of Matthew. To take "this generation" out of context, turns the scriptures into fiction. Christ was very specific about returning in the lifetime of his audience, his testimony. Every New Testament writer told their audience they would witness the revelation/resurrection/second coming of Jesus Christ, their testimony. 1948 has absolutely nothing to do with prophecy, man's doctrine.
