as for education as a whole, there's this teacher from the US, Alfie Kohn, who based on research data strongly suggests we abolish grades and other sorts of manipulative and competitive practices, and he says many other interesting things about how to stop killing curiosity and cooperation in schools. which coincidentally agrees a lot with what Ancient Soviet philosophers and educators wrote, such as Evald Ilyenkov.
