Signs To Start Your Own Business in the Netherlands as an International

These are definitely unavoidable signs that it's time to start your own business in the Netherlands. I've been running my own business based in the Netherlands since January 2020. In the beginning I still had a part time job in digital marketing but since the start of 2021 I'm a full time business owner. During the first 6 months of this year, I've earned more than I ever did working 40+ hrs/ week as a full time (and burnt out) architect. I'm a KZbin digital creator, digital strategist focusing on video marketing as well as a business coach for the new wave of online entrepreneurs.

I can say I went through all that almost my entire history as an employee (except for the first week or two, before the novelty of getting a job wore off LOL). 🤦🏻‍♂️ To me all that hell was the reason we get paid when we get a job. Sadly I got way too sick and I was kicked out (I had a convulsive issue due to stress and they didn't want me to have an accident at work and sue them later). Glad your project worked out and you got out before breaking. 👏🏻

I’m sorry to hear about your less than ideal experience. I must admit even though I was fortune enough to quit corporate and start my own thing, it was still a huge emotional roller coaster. It still has its ups and downs but I wouldn’t change it for something else.
