I've gone from running marathons to triathalons; I have a very understanding wife. The advantage to starting at 5:00 is I can get 4-5 hours in by the time she wakes up on the weekends. Although when I get back no one's snacks are safe 😂

Too funny I have to show my hubby! He could relate to them all, he isnt a runner. He used to be when we met. But like you, he has suffered a knee injury, not by running, but a cycling accident. He has been watching your journey with your knee btw! I made him watch :-) OMG the rolling at night while watching TV, and organising social occasions around running sessions and the talk about shoes, and about cars and distance and thinking I could get there first etc. Thanks for the vid

Don't write off all non runners... my non running husband is my biggest cheerleader, my crew, he sends me links to races, and buys me running stuff for the holidays. In return I schedule my runs for when he's working, and choose races based on which ones look the most fun for onlookers!
