MargaritaMolly hey there. if you don't mind telling, could you tell me how you were diagnosed with adhd, because I think I might have it but my parents don't listen to me. it's just so hard to convince them, and their response is that since I'm not doing well at school and am depressed that's why I might think that I have some mental health issues, but I know it's much more than that

you dont have to be formally diagnosed for it to be important. i suggest you talk to a teacher that you trust on this issue and they can refer you to a counsellor or call your parents to talk about it

maham meher I got tested for it when I was younger. I was always hyper and I would never clam down. My symptoms are: I can't concentrate easily, I always need to be moving a body part (this one varies), I cant focus well, I can easily forget things (apart from birthdays, I'm pretty good at remembering them) and I am very energetic (most of the time) that's ADHD though. There is also ADD where your not hyper you basically can't focus. No matter what ur parents say. Tell them u want tested for it at least. I chose not to get medicine for it because it's not that bad but if it's bothering you that much you might wanna try it

i used to always search for my keys, because i just randomly put it somewhere when i got home. now i put a hook right next to the door and it changed my life xD im slowly getting the hang of how to handle my forgetful self: start to have specific places for your things and always put them at the same place, even if that means you have to move a bit more (trust me, its less work and time then if you spend half an hour searching it hysterically, only to find them at the most obvious place)
