When first met, I was not as successful financially as her, as was in career transition. I was in Insurance and she was Sr. Management. But, I was unquestionably the far more attractive one, really lean and muscular. She was submissive & sexual. And one day she willfully brought her policy information to me for my expertise. I immediately instructed multiple beneficial changes which she did. In ensuing years, I put so much time & energy into that career pivot, IT Project Management, that I lost frame. Became more reliant on her, lost my great physical shape, and 2020 I lost a $90k contract position due to the plandemic. I never stopped working to upskill during that time, but was out of work and really reliant on her. I went over 320 pounds, was living off savings & credit debt, I just had her as place to live. I knew it was only temporary, I knew that I would get that physique back and it would be the “easy” part. I figured I would regain frame once back to work & in shape again. Both happened starting in 2021, got back to work, landed multiple contract jobs till made full time. I lost 75 pounds and started looking incredible physically again. But I lost so much frame & she had so much power, I underestimated the loss of that frame. Despite making $100k+, and dropping to 250 lbs, looking better than when she met me, this happened: Her policy increased substantially. Instead of asking me, she just willfully ignored my opinion & did dumb decisions. No respect for my expertise. That was when I first realized it. She no longer looked up to me. Oh, and lost frame? No s3x ever. It never changed. Had multiple girls outside the relationship that had s3x with, pulled back, did everything except leave. It took multiple years to get myself back on feet financially so I put up with it. Saved $100k towards retirement & paid all debts, got new truck. Had to ultimately pull the trigger & leave. Downgrade in lifestyle TBH. But the only way to really ever regain respect, you must leave. It’s only thing that works.
