Over the holidays, I played a card game with my family that involved answering several questions about ourselves. One was, "What's your favorite KZbin video?" This video was my answer. Thanks for uploading these. Heima is a film that accompanied me through transcendental moments in my life and it never fails to trigger feelings no other band has. Despise not knowing anything about the icelandic language, there is a spirit in your music that has resonated within me for all these years that I will forever cherish.
One of the things in life that I will always dream is go back in time just for me to be able to presence any of the Heima Tour. If feeling it on DVD is surreal... I just can't imagine how it could be live. Sigur Ros fill my soul.

There shall come a day when the world will look back in awe at the day when Sigur Ros formed and say, "Whoa! How unappreciated they were. But the impact on music they have left in their wake has reverberated even more than the Beatles - Jonsi is bigger than John Lennon" Music, like everything else, EVOLVES. I would so like to be alive on the day this mentality shifts, but I fear such a recognition will not happen until the world is ready for serious alteration. Until then, I will listen.... every day....

A few months back I lost my partner of 7 years , and this song feels like a journey of beginning hope to highs and lows of sadness and heartbreak throughout the relationship and then rising back at the end to try pull back through . Literally puts me in tears every time . It wasn’t our song but it makes me think of my past relationship .
