Making a bad song that nobody watches ❌ Making a great song but giving it the most cancerous name so that nobody can find it ✅

A personal story when I first heard this song; I was over at my cousin’s house with his wife and I was spending the night over so we could drink together and play some video games. Around 12 am, I was having a bit of a stomach ache and my cousin suggested we get some fresh air outside. We sat on the patio where we talked about some life things. He talked about his childhood, terrible things I was never told and it broke my heart to hear of it. It explained a lot about his feelings, even his laid-back attitude. He continued by asking me about my stuff (no reason to get into that personal stuff here) and eventually after talking for two hours out in the cold, we went inside where he showed me some songs he loved to listen to. And this was one of them and for reasons I can’t explain, I started to cry, which I don’t like to do, especially not in front of people but this song does that to me, every time. Till the day my soul leaves this world, I will always listen to this song and cry to remind myself that feeling is natural, it is okay to feel the emotions that I do. Don’t hold it all in.

One of the simplest, yet most beautiful videos I've ever seen. Eyes closed, a grin, maybe a tear - that's what it's all about.

My friends and I used to watch this on ecstasy all the time, and it was always an indescribably heavenly and sacred experience, both visually and musically. Those experiences fostered a deep appreciation and immense respect for disabled people that I'm so thankful for. These people deserve so much love for what they have to endure through absolutely no fault of their own.

The world needs this song. More now than ever. It always needs this song. A reminder that life is about love. Caring about other people is all we have.

This is one of those songs that brings me peace, like I’m in some sort of heaven. The kind of peace I always grew up thinking the religion I grew up in was supposed to bring me, the kind of peace only music can give me. It just makes me forget about my troubles.

E3 2008 Prince of persia trailer
