Aye I often wonder too, sure they are very intelligent, their burrows are very complicated and very structured .... amazing wee creatures, as you may notice .. I love them..ahahahh

They are wee marmots...the cutest and nicest animals ever.... well at least for me!

@@taraalan1131 yes, the hibernate for about 6 months, depending on how the winter is .... they are wonderful creatures.... they can stand still for minutes ... and I like to sit for hours watching them.... a lot to learn!
