The anger comes from thinking the world revolves around them, and you are there only to service them, and there are no other clients. I've seen it at doctor's offices. Someone has an appointment at 10, doesn't show up till like 10:40,and gets mad that they have to reschedule because they're 40 minutes late. It's like hello! Other people need to see the doctor too.

One time I showed up to my hair appointment, turns out they had been trying to call me all week to tell me one of the dyes for my appointment hadn't come in yet. We found out when I gave them my number there was a communication error and it got written wrong so I never got any of their calls.

I am that Jessica 😂 just with better manners. I want the hairstylist's name who told you the story. Disclaimer, I work 75 -80 hr weeks. My case load has tripled/ quadrupled since covid. I barely get one day off and I work noc shift. When people call I am most likely asleep, so i'm very transparent that I work night shift and I sleep during the day. I had a lip filler place who would call me every hour on their sell days to try to book me an appointment. I am sleeping. My hairstylist, my nail ,lash tech know I need dear Asshole reminders ( Appointment reminder notifications) because I will forget what day it is and when my appointment is. I'll own it , it's me. I'm the problem 😂

Even if they were getting paid either way. That's so entitled and rude!!! We had 4 girls like this in my year. After we graduated, I never saw them again. 2 of them showed up to the stupidest anniversary get together which was just 5 years after graduation. Non of them had finished college. There was basically nothing to talk about or to recall that didn't already happen throughout the past 6 years. (If your math doesn't work here... it's not the US, we graduate at 19 years old) And one of them was rather b!tchy, not really talking to anyone. And the other...who would never accept anything but the spotlight...sat there very calm and taken back. Behaviour 180degree. She was actually nice and thanked the waiter even. And the girls I sat with suddenly saw this and be like: Wow, what happened to her?! And I was like: Well what do you think? Life happend. 😂 They were already tipsy and laughed so good.😅 I explained it a bit further. My friend said: Damn, with you I don't even need beer to have fun. 😊 Since I never drink, haven't ever been drunk...I just thanked her with a big smile like: Yes of course darling! Kinda cocky. And the laughter started all over again. See, the point is...if you behave like this around here as an adult... nobody let's you get away with it. Nobody. I have so much empathy and understanding for peoples issues, but if they make their problem mine... that's a line even I will defend.

Daughter went to get a cut n style on Saturday. Wanted something different n fun(she's 26). Looking forward to it,showed up 10 minutes early. Stylist ran over 15 minutes, station was a disaster. She gave my daughter a basic haircut that I could have done better and for free. The lady acted like it was her first time. The cut was 18.00,not worth it at all,neither was the 5.00 tip. The stylist waited at the desk for her tip which she didn't deserve. She told my daughter she couldn't style her hair bc her next client was there. Really? Very unprofessional. To beat it all,my daughter cried,didn't really could afford it,but wanted something different. It's been 2 yrs since her last cut. Grant it,it's hair n will grow back.,that's not the point, it's the principle and lack of professionalism. She won't be going back
