Timely tips for the roaring. Heading out for my first roar. 6 days and only me and my bow. Hope I can just get one in range. Thanks for all the videos. Much appreciated. Learned a heap.

Awesome tips Glen...i think you are spot on with your calling tips. Mews and soft calls have proved far more successful for me than single calls especially when in the zone. Great stag to kick off 2024 As for the rain i think it levels the playing feild in the bush and tips the odds in our favour. If you can put up with getting wet its a great time to be in the thick stuff. 5 of the last 6 sika i have shot have been in the rain.

Cheers mate, we get asked so often by new hunters for advice hunting rutting stags, that we decided to try and offer some help. They can be such frustrating animals when anyone first starts hunting them

Nice vid and stag dude Jeez the roar started early this year , a full month away from the traditional peak , but then again ,I did hear my first hee haw on 10 February this year 😮
@BackridgeButcher8 ай бұрын
They seriously won't peak until mid April as per normal mate. Plenty start he-hawing during March leading up to the big dance
