That 470kg deadlift proves to Eoin that the deadlift suit is, indeed, just a tight shirt.

It is so funny going from this channel where you guys emphasize using the back squat to build the front squat, to strong man channels they emphasize using the front squat instead
@Kyle1118 сағат бұрын
Yeah, I remember hearing them say the back squat is less fatiguing. That’s one of the few things I’ve heard from sika I’m iffy on. It makes sense that less load is less fatiguing. I forget their exact rationale though

A few years back, some of the powerlifters in my gym were wearing 12mm sleeves bought from Amazon. Don't remember the brand, but apparently they were a thing - I checked. Imagine wearing 12mm sleeves lmao. I have used the Hookgrip 9mm sleeves though, but they feel much 'softer' and supportive, not necessarily thicker. They certainly don't seem to give you any extra poundage over an average 7mm pair.
@TimurLenk-y1k3 сағат бұрын
the "new generation" knee sleeves are the 7mm stiff knee sleeves anyway, first introduced by Inzer and then copied by pretty much everyone else (apart, oddly enough, from SBD). They are still 7mm, so IPF standard, but goddamn they are stiff af compared to the "old" 7mm knee sleeves. It's like wearing medium tight knee wraps, you get that pop off of the hole that makes you spring out of it much faster that with normal sleeves.

@@TimurLenk-y1k I actually briefly tried the Inzer 'ErgoPro.' Despite sizing up from my usual, I found them almost impossible to get on and off, often having to get a guy to help me pull them down. Too much work for me, so I sold them on. But you're not wrong - you get a CRAZY bounce out of them.
