Now there are 5 gurudwaras in our country 1. Is the nanak shahi 2. Gurudwara sangatola in old dhaka songgottoli 3. Grudwara Mymensingh 4. Gurudwara pahartoli (Chittagong) 5. There's a 300 year old Armenian church and christian graveyard in old Dhaka too. It's unfortunate that we're incompetent to preserve many of historic monuments. But it shows that what a diverse, vibrant, tolerant past we had before the westerners destroyed our culture. The Islamophobic media paints Muslims as intolerant but it was muslim-majority Bengal that had not only mosques but also hindu temple, christian church, buddhist temple, sikh guruduara. The western countries these days teach us about peaceful coexistence but can any western country show a 300 year old mosque or Muslim graveyard in their country?

In North Indian states like Jammu, Punjab where I'm from, Himachal and Haryana we also say langar. And interestingly in Gurudwara's langar can also be called 'Prashada'

Brother that's a nice hotel you have picked. But if you are not too bothered about staying in 5 start hotels then you can find lots of reasonably nice, clean and comfortable hotels in Dhaka for approximately 20 USD per.night.!
