Bahot kam rahegi. Matlab aapko thoda chadhke jaana hoga snow ke liye niche nahi milega. Proper snow dekhne ka month peak season ke months me se hai March. Uske baad se snow kam hota jaata hai. Phir winters me jaake hi acchi khaasi snow milti hai.

September is still considered part of the monsoon season, and it can rain. I also checked the weather forecast for Gangtok, Lachung and Lachen, and it's expected to rain on most days. It's advisable to avoid hill stations during the rainy season. However, if you've already decided to go, please be prepared, keep a few extra days in your itinerary, and stay safe.

Is this video shot 2-3 days back? We are visiting in the week of 13th May, will Lachung zero point n nathula be very cold? How will be the temp at Pelling?

I wish videos could be edited that faster.😊 Actually, this video was shot in mid March. The weather will be cold in mid May for sure in the northern part of Sikkim and it's very windy at Nathula so be prepared for that. Temperature at places like Gangtok and Pelling will remain below 25 degrees celcius and you may require light warm clothes but the rest of the places will be colder and heavy winter wear will be required. .

Currently, Lachen can't be accessed as the road between Mangan and Chungthang is blocked. Recently, I came across a post that mentioned you can’t go beyond Mangan if you plan to visit Lachen or Gurudongmar Lake. Arre sir mat boliye please. yeh trip mid March me kiya tha. Exact dates ki baat karen toh 12th 13th ko start kiya tha. Abhi weather thoda sa warmer hga par snow phir bhi mil jayega Yumthang and Katao me. Nathula me bhi thoda mil jayega.

Thank you. You surely can. As you are going to rent the bike(s), the service provider will help you with the permit. You can't go to Lachen or Gurudongmar lake now but, you can cover rest of the places.

North Sikkim is considered as one of the toughest places to ride on, however, Gurudongmar Lake and Lachen aren't open for tourists now which is actually tough. And the rest of the route is quite safe. Because I travelled to Lachung and Yumthang Valley in this trip, I can confidently say that it's very much rideable. The route didn't seem to be tough to ride on. I can say it confidently because I too like to ride. So you are good.

Toh aap wahan ke Red Panda square se niche ek rasta jata hai Lal bazaar ke taraf, wahan ja sakte hain wahan pe thode kam daam me aapko winter wears mil jayenge. Yeh bilkul city center hai toh aap kisi se bhi MG Marg ya Lal Bazaar ka rasta pooch sakte hain. Humne wahan se kaafi shopping ki.

Yes, it's still closed. No one knows when it's going to open. Our driver told us that it may take a year or two whereas a policeman said that it may take 2-3 months. Let's hope it opens soon.

Otherwise, weather plains ke muqable bahot hi pleasant rahega. Temperature everyday 30 degrees se kam hi rehne wala hai.
