As a guitarist and a pedal nerd, stumbling on this video, you should let people know how you do the reamping thing since it's a big part of how to use guitar pedals in the studio. Cool vid, if not pretty basic on the functionality of those pedals. They are so deep.

Are there software equivalents of these things? Or any software that can be used in a similar way? To spice up your sounds?
@SIKKYBEATS3 жыл бұрын
You'd need a somewhat complicated plugin chain to make it work and even then, its no fun to have to jump between 5 plugins to make this happen. Hardware also introduces a bit of randomness to the sound.

at 4:50 how on earth are you getting that cool reverse effect? I put followed your tutorial exactly :/ I Consolidated midi files, used Mul on resample, hit the reverse button and its still not giving that wicked reverse effect lol Would love to know! - Edit, I think im missing something between where you change the pitch using the mul and then using reverse. Did you export the audio when you changed the mul then brought it back in, changed it again and added reverse?

So you don’t have to use the pedal loop you can play directly into the pedal and record it in your daw?🤔 I’m asking because you bout to make me go all in on these pedals. I’ve been looking at videos of other pedals and yours is the only one that relates to producers for beats. Would the looper function last a 8 bar loop? I got so many questions 🤦🏽♂️
@SIKKYBEATS3 жыл бұрын
Your question isn't clear. YOu have to route the audio out to the pedals and then back in. Blooper is the only one you have to record into the pedal first and then manipulate before you record the audio back in your DAW. Blooper has a 30second record limit. (I think)
@adwes19373 жыл бұрын
@@SIKKYBEATS instead of recording the loop onto the pedal can just use the effect and record it in the daw right
@SIKKYBEATS3 жыл бұрын
You have to record the audio into blooper first so it can do its thing. You don’t have to worry about this when you are using other pedals. Hope this helps

So pedals are like a more advanced gross beat
@SIKKYBEATS3 жыл бұрын
Not quite, while gross beat is affecting the sound very precisely, a pedal like Thermae function as an analog delay, filter, tape machine, chorus, multi tap delay, all while introducing a subtle bit of analog goodness. You hear it when i turn on the pedal. Mmmmmm tasty😊
