I love Kermit's personality and I've been flying since I was 15 years old. This is one guy I'd have a thrill flying with!

Kermit really has a fascinating collection of aircraft. I visited this place in1996. Will be great to revisit 20 years later (more likely 21) and this time will hopefully have my private certificate.

Glad this plane is getting all its TLC and airtime - and water time - that it was meant for, back in 39 when it was built, and also when Dick Jackson got it back together. Thanks Kermit, hope we meet up sometime. Igor, III

Check out my Facebook page. Link is in side menu here. We posted a video of the S-39 flying there recently.

Wow, Great Video I saw this S-39 at the 2009 International Seaplane Fly-In in Greenville, Maine and then here at Fantasy of Flight in 2012, what a beautiful airplane. Question: Are the B-26 Marauder and B-25 Mitchell that can be seen in the background of the video still airworthy, just wondering

How do you keep the floats from corroding inside, add marine fogging oil?
@JavierRigaud9 жыл бұрын
Hi, I come back to this video from time to time because I love it, but knowing that Phil(mer) is allways there taking the moment, Why don't you use some external views in the final montage?, it will be interesting too and I don't think the spirit of the Kermie Cam videos will be touched. It would be nice to see the low pass by's and the splashes. Anyway, thanks for your videos.

If you have that much space to take off, why taxi all the way to the end?

To be safe if engine stop running after take off

Because the runway behind you is one of the three most useless things in aviation. The other two being the air above you and the fuel in the underground tanks at the service ramp.

Blue Marshall I'm not sure fully why he didn't, but I think the prop is high enough that you don't even have to worry. He also probably knows no one was around him.
