Hey everyone, I'm not sure if you know this...but if you want old SikTh, you can go an listen to old SikTh. Stop stifling them with these ridiculously tired comments about wanting to hear old SikTh. Loving the new songs so far, can't wait to hear the whole album.
@PatO-kk2vw7 жыл бұрын
Vivid sounds pretty close to old Sikth. didn't like the song at first but I was listening to Such the Fool and suddenly I realized the song was amazing. While the vocalist change is saddening I kinda like the direction they are taking it and I think this new guy fits right in with the sound they're putting out. I like the style and the lyrical difference makes for a new aspect of entertaining. Oh look, there's another elevator. I don't think I'll ever ride another elevator without headbanging now.

@damonjohnson83373 жыл бұрын
I like what you said about making music for yourselves. Not only is that crucial (imo) for a bands chemistry and longevity, more often times than not, they're the bands that put out awesome shit. Mainstream pop music industry is full of artists who make an absolute killing from releasing garbage ass music because people are stupid and throw gobs of money at them for their crap music that alot of times they don't even write themselves. Unoriginal bastards. Sorry for the rant lol I just like what you said. 🤘🏻🧔🏼🤘🏻

What a great song. a mixture of DOADD and Trees in style, it feels far more mature and as to the comments from people about the production being cleaner/more polished compared to the old stuff, it definitely is - but in no way is that a bad thing. Looking forward to the new album :)

Not really. It was a little fast tempo, sure, but it was still gurgled singing verses and relatively tame. Don't get me wrong, this is all good, it's just more Philistine Philosophies than Hold My Finger. It's incredibly hard to put into words, but it's different XD
@DannyWadeson7 жыл бұрын
Let me put into words for you. Hold My Finger was batshit insane, inventive as hell, had tonnes of random time sigs and insanely good riffs. This is good, very good, and veyr good by SiKth is still better than 99% of anything else, but it's not in the same league as all-time greats like 'Such The Fool' and 'HMF' etc.
@DigitalDevil947 жыл бұрын
It's desperately missing the batshit. The whole record so far has been missing the batshit. It's just technical and a lot more straightforward.

Hmmm, might be a grower. I feel like the production on this new stuff is a bit too immaculate. The earlier stuff was a bit rougher around the edges and benefited from it. Also, this new stuff all seems structured kind of simply, and I was kind of hoping for more crazy riffs too. Ah well, I suppose we've only heard 3 songs from a 12 song record so far. Plenty of opportunities for craziness.
@StromboliKicks7 жыл бұрын
It was definitely a grower for me. I'm addicted to the 2:13 riff. Just missing some aggression, but I hope the rest of the album compensates that.
