Wrapped thousands of bales with a lever wrapper like that. My one had nice light lever, no effort needed. Bit awkward in modern cabs to get it a nice position. Have one with a servo joystick now that's nice as well. They are well shaped bales thanks a lot to the fine big row of grass. Thanks for the good video.

Im from Australia we wrap a couple of thousand silage bales. We use an inline wrapper on a tractor which creates a long sausage of bales. We like as it uses less plastic and because we carte with to people most of the time it does not matter Thanks for the video

Good video. Could you get the baler controls Plummed to work on the joystick in the tractor?
@CowfarmerDan5 жыл бұрын
Theres only 2 spools on the joystick. It would be possible to run it from spool valves, but it's not something we've considered as we only have 1 tractor with 4 spools. Sticking with the standard levers means we can put it on any tractor.

They are good wrappers I have mchale lber 991 completely remote but static always wrap at the stacking site Do you ever have problems rapping the wrap when transporting??
@CowfarmerDan5 жыл бұрын
We do have to be careful, but wrapping in the field suits best most of the time. We do sometimes wrap at the stack.

Over the May Bank holiday period, both Wiltshire and Dorset were targeted for thefts of Starfire GPS Guidance systems from within Tractors. 🚜 Reports of the thefts occurred mostly in the South West of Wiltshire, with John Deere tractors targeted during the night. We are keen to speak to anyone who has seen suspicious vehicles or people close to farm premises over the weekend of the 24 - 26 May 2019 in the Longbridge Deverill and Tisbury areas. If you can help please contact our Rural Crime Team on 101. Or information can be passed via Rural Crimestoppers 0800 783 0137 anonymously. If you use GPS guidance receivers please follow the below crime prevention advice: • Remove all GPS guidance receivers, aerials or antenna globe when not in use and keep them locked away in secure locked place when possible. • Considered fitting security tethers to devices to stop them being removed. • Consider marking these with UV pen or engraving your postcode or forensic marking such as Datatag are all options to consider. Machines fitted and registered with certain security markings are 4 times less likely to be stolen and our 6 times more likely to be recovered if they are stolen. • Store machinery inside locked barns if possible. • Where locking machines away isn’t an option consider fitting mains or battery operated alarms to outbuildings or around the perimeter of areas where machines are stored. • If you are considering fitting CCTV then please consider fitting this as well as alarms as part of a system. CCTV cannot be relied on fully as this won’t alert you at the time that you have intruders. • CCTV and intruder alarms will deter most thieves but make sure they are checked regularly to ensure they will work when you need them and they are placed in a position that won’t be triggered by animals or foliage moving in the wind. • Record machinery serial numbers and photographs for reference. This will help police should they be stolen with press releases and social media appeals furthering the chances of the items being recovered. You can use www.immobilise.com is a good place to record your property, ITS FREE! • Let employees know the security arrangements that are expected of them while working on the farm. • Encourage farm staff to be vigilant and report any suspicious behaviour or vehicles to the police. We don't know unless you tell us!

Good video do you bale any small bales? Do you have much plastic waste ? does the council take it away or a private contractor?
@CowfarmerDan5 жыл бұрын
No small bales for us, we don't have a small baler. The plastic waste goes to a private recycling company.

We could do with that weather up here, the weather the last three days have been hellish, the ground is soaking wet, lm in Central Scotland, l see lm not the only guy who bales with the net cover up, must be a claas problem.
