He's right... It's not the planet that we're putting in danger, it's us. The planet will be here long long long after we're gone like it's always been. We've got the terminology all wrong. When we destroy our environment we're only destroying ourselves, *not* the planet. What arrogance to act like we're somehow saving the planet. We are but a millisecond in the life of planet earth And it takes the genius of George Carlin to point that out. 👍👍

Great to see younger folks like you discover this treasure of humanity that is Georges Carlin. The show dates from 1992, and he was talking about VIH or AIDS, which at the time was THE big virus of the decade. But for sure, it could totally apply to COVID these days. He wasn't ahead of his time, he was totally of his times. It's the time that haven't changed since the 90's (if anything, it got worse).

Great Reaction, You listened & Thought about the reality of it all... I'm with Mr, Carlin on this.. He was a genius in so many ways R.I.P. To A Very Smart & Funny Man ! Firstly, Yes I like a clean planet like most. But Seriously, All these people complaining about the fuels, etc in the air from car's etc... Everyone claiming that's what's been causing the extreme weather & temps over the last 5 yrs or longer.. Here's a couple thing's to think about in regards to this.. Firstly I think the planet is now going through a Full Evolution And we as the human race are getting to see the full affect of it... Example Everyone is saying it's all the Emissions in the air now Are causing the extreme heat & cold temps.. What A Joke That Is... Example : Just watch the tv newscast weather reports... They usually start off with the current day's Temp, Then they show Last Year's Temp On This Date, Then The Record Temps For Heat & Cold on the specific date.. Around 85 % Of The Time Those Record Temps Were In The Late 1800's or Early 1900's... Hmm... Don't Recall A Whole Bunch Of Car's On The Roads Back Then, Don't Recall A Whole Bunch Of Factories Pushing out A Ton Of Emissions And Don't recall A Whole Lot Of Airplanes In The Skies Either... I'm An Older Person & We Were Actually taught About The Planet & Evolution In School.. Can't Quite Figure Out Why, All The So Called Experts Aren't Telling Us The Truth.. Though Everything Is All About The Almighty Dollar In Today's World All This Recycled Bull, Plastic Bag's Etc... We Pay Triple The Price Now & 90% Of It Doesn't Last Worth A Crap.. Hmm... People, Pickup Your Garbage So The Planet Looks Good.. But, Really... A Plastic Straw Is Going To Hurt The Planet? The Planet Is Fine & Cleansing Itself Now.. Us Human's Are A Total Mess... And Stop Throwing Your Garbage On The Ground & In The Ocean's... Sorry For The Short Novel... Cheers
