As for Mr. Johnson, he’s raking in $340,000 a year as a city manager with a population of a little over 400,000. Hell, the President’s of the United States makes $400,000 a year. If the mayors position is so unimportant and the city manager is running the show, where’s the press conference from him to calm all fears about the state of the city of Oakland in light of the fact the Mayor has ghosted her constituents. What’s happening right now is absolutely a dereliction of duty and people should be outraged.
