Great video. Here's another tip : You can set a key for your aim in game, and even another one to open the area loot. (Yeah! No mouse clicking) So, when killing mobs, press the aim key to target mobs and the numbers to cast spells then repeat.. When the floor is full of loot, you just press the area loot key and spacebar to pick it all up. It's a lot faster. :)

For new players I suggest selling cow hides to build that Capital, then when you have enough Capital spend it on buying Iron Ore and Coal to smelt Steel Bar. Steel Bar will usually generate from 1.2-1.5 mil per hour. It's a pretty stable money making method, but it will still depend on the supplies and demands. 11/23/2020 - I found that selling it for 720+ Gold will sell it immediately

The best way to do the D'hide tanning is at the Well of Goodwill next to the cCooking Guild. Since we can just click on the well's roof to open bank, thus zooming will help you open both tanning and bank interface at quick phase. So just repeat the pattern of Mouseclick Bank -> 1 (preset) -> Mouseclick Portable Crafter -> Space -> repeat...

To really peak (6000+ per 1 crafter) the secret is to do 2 of these at the same time in such a way that the 2 menus (bank and tanning menu)never disappear. Basically you hit both the preset key (1 or 2) and space bar at the same time. As you hit both, you click on either the bank or the crafter thus completing the appropriate action (either bringing up the bank or crafter. If done right neither menu disappear so much as they get replaced by the next menu. If you keep this up you can do 6000+ per crafter Also low ping world helps a ton

For people who want a decent gp/hr method, but also want to earn reasonable crafting xp (since Ruby amulets give trash xp, and dhide gives 0...) try crafting diamond necks. Pure profit, not very click intensive with a preset, great f2p crafting xp (2560 xp minimum per minute), and still 1.2m gp/hr. This method deserves a mention, because, while it requires 56 craft, that doesn't actually take very long, nor is it very difficult to achieve, and this can easily make you some $ and carry you to 99 craft in f2p. The only downside is a) you need some startup cash and B) You have to pay a moderate amount of attention. However, you can still do other stuff in the background; it's nowhere near as intensive as #1.

The correct way to make money on F2P: do something that makes money until you can afford a bond, then buy membership with in game gp and never be stuck in F2P again. Maintain your bind with membership money makers that are much better than any F2P method.

You have to complete Family Crest to store gold/silver ore and bars in the metal bank. I recommend completing that quest if you get a bond or buy membership, I'm almost sure that you can still store gold in the metal bank F2P if you beat the quest.

Recommendation Make a Ftp to main series. (Start f2p and using only gp from in game earn a bond and keep account afloat using gp earned while playing) so far no one is doing this with rs3. It my favorite series to watch for old school

from playing Runescape and experience instantly buying an item is acceptable, however instantly selling is always a huge mistake unless you instantly sell upwards. I always look at the economy as I have x for sale and if you keep with in the 20% margins, so use 5,10 and 15% to your advantage for selling guide lines the higher the % the longer your trade will be at auction, so if you want an instant sale, sell at +5% (with willingness to wait 2 hours) +10% is used for sleeping and other 6/8hour tasks and +15% and 20% is used for longer occasions like 8 hours or more away from runescape. even if you are playing for 8 hours, Its still worth investing in the 15% and 20% margins for sales while focusing on the same buy price or the 5% margin for buying. although Im f2p atm and I'm making 140k per 28 items I gather I'm still selling these items instantly at -5% not only because these items are free when taking into account resources but also because incentive for prices going down will entise the market to carry on investing as their getting a 'better deal' making the overall price continue to rise rather than damaging the market from inflation of prices and having everyone opt out leaving your item null and void, it just depends what you want from the economy and how long for, etc. etc etc,, :) Enjoyed the vid.

if you want 5mins+ of afk, go ahead and make rune arrowheads, at 59 smithing, they start at full heat from anvil, so no need to start at smelter, and you don't need to reheat. its about 800k+ an hour atm. and will still like that, most likely will go up, due to rune arrowheads being really good fletching experience. so yea, if you want AFK, true AFK, not this 1min BS. Rune Arrowheads, all day! and if 800k an hour isn't enough, take 2 accounts.

Inflation is the short answer. The long answer is that people want items to alch that don't lose them too much money in order to train magic efficiently and cheaply. There's also the fact that items are sold for stupid prices because of inflation caused from an awful economy and being able to make 2M/hr doing basic tasks on a lvl 3.

A “preset” is a set of automatic commands. This could be from attacks to prayers or food. They go in your “action bar” which is the rectangular box that has a series of 12 boxes in them.

Actually you can place gold (and silver) ores into the metal bank after completing "Family Crest". Otherwise it is much slower, and you are better off getting ton of gold spirits and have access to the crafting guild. Which that is the fastest next to being able to use smelting gauntlets. So, I doubt that brand new players have completed Family Crest right out of the get go. Unless if Jagex had patched that so the f2p can be able to deposit gold and silver into the metal bank along with the bar varients.

Did the math of the gold thing, Takes 80 second to make around 15,000gp. there is 3600 seconds in an hour so 3600/80 = 45 Trips every hour then you just do simple math to reveal the method is only 700k - 800k an hour! I hate how he adds the gp from the "gold ore" costs and adds the to the profit. EVEN IF YOU WERE MEMEBERS WITH THE FAMILY CREST QUEST AND YOU COULD SOME HOW INSTANTLY MAKE GOLD BARS WITH NO WAIT TIMES WOULD STILL BE 900K PROFIT NOT 1.3M. Disliked for heavy misinformation! If it takes you 80 seconds to do a full inventory of gold bars you’re doing something wrong. If you’re paying attention it’s more like 68 seconds, let’s say you’re only kind of paying attention it’s 70 seconds. Which is more like 53 trips/hr. Then take into consideration market fluctuations which if you take the average from the last month the profit average is actually 17.5k per inventory. Which comes out to roughly 927k/hr (this is an average). If you wait and buy/sell properly you could make 1.3m/hr if you sell at the right time.

Also have to take into the lag from the server AND interfaces loading! You can literally time this yourself I did super generous timer and still got 80 seconds so it would be more. Lunathean once you’ve done the family crest quest being able to deposit the gold bars into the metal bank only takes 1-2 seconds. You can’t speak on a method of you aren’t even doing it the most efficient way. Gold bars “not selling that well” doesn’t matter. Just wait 24 hours at the top of the GE price and they’ll probably be sold. You’re trying to explain doing this method the noob way isn’t profitable when he’s speaking of the most efficient way. Bring a pickaxe, a chisel, and a ball of wool when you complete the quest Haunted Mine and go back into the Abandoned Mine to the bottom floor to mine and cut a Salve Shard and attached a ball of wool to it (the Lunar spell String Jewellery can be used in place of a ball of wool if you have access to the Lunar Spellbook). To enhance the Salve Amulet after acquiring it, upon entering the Abandoned Mine again, you can enter the Lair of Tarn Razorlor and do the Lair of Tarn Razorlor miniquest (require 40 Slayer to complete) and after defeating Tarn, enter Tarn's room, grab his Diary and "use" it on the Salve Amulet to enhance its power.
