Silencing Nature's Orchestra

In 1998 i started monitoring the Markworth State Forest in Washington State.
This video is around 7.5 minutes in length but i wanted to give you an example of man made noise contaminating the recordings.
You can see from the sonograms the thick orange/red areas that hold the majority of the noise, mostly jet planes....
In 1998 I could record much longer without a plane ruining the recordings.
It started getting worse around 2011 and it became virtually impossible to record the natural sounds there anymore.
The first recording was done with my Nagra IVs with a pair of MKH 20 Sennheiser microphones.
The following 5 recordings were recorded with a Sound Devices 722 recorder and a Sennheiser MKH 40/30 MS set up.
