Silent!! | Akko Fairy and Akko Penguin Switches

Thanks for this! Most reviews of these switches have boosted sound or have keyboard builds that make these switches not so silent. This review sounds pretty accurate! I already have the fairy switches on my build and I wanted to hear if the penguin switches sound similar so I can buy them for my next custom keeb.

Maybe someday they'll make silent keycaps with sillicon on the upper contact to the switch. It will eliminate the nano scratch and make the world quitest keyboard setup

Depending on your keyboard build, it can be really silent. I have the fairy switches on my Monsgeek M1W, it sounds exactly like this; dead silent.

Good idea haha But I’m not mute mic or do anything to reduce sound or make silent. You can notice it still have scratchy sound a little bit from keycaps

you dont *need* to do anything if you dont want but i believe lubing them will only make it slightly smoother and will soften the already quiet sound

The tactile switches sound scratchy..but do they feel good/better for typing?

I’m tactile guy I like Penguin but louder

it's tacticle vs linear like with other keys... I have the penguins here and they feel good (though a bit scratchy)
