Silent and Deep: The Manila Water NBAQ4 Story

To date, the Novaliches-Balara Aqueduct 4 Project is the largest water supply infrastructure project in Metro Manila. This new aqueduct is capable of delivering 1,000 million liters per day, ensuring water supply reliability and security in the East Zone of Metro Manila and Rizal Province for years to come.

First Balfour - we build for good. First Balfour in JV with CMC and Chun Wu, constructed NBAQ4. Thank you to Manila Water for this pioneering project. First time in the Philippines that a Tunnel Boring Machine is used in the urban setting.

Kudos to Manila Water and First Balfour for this project. Sana matauhan at tularan kayo ng ibang provider and be sensitive enough to provide advanced long lasting solutions and not just band aid solutions. Kung pwede lang itag yung isang provider na nag papanggap na Prime pero sobrang incompetent.

Lol, ang hina ng water pressure niyo. In fact, kahit umuulan o bagyo, halos patak na lang ang tubig from 5am until 5pm. People living in higher houses will feel the effect. Walang ramdam ang mga isang floor lang ang bahay.

I’m not from Metro Manila, yet my family experienced water rationing or no running water comes out of the faucet, every time we visited the place in the 60s, 70s even in the 80s! The water supply was improved when it was privatized in the 90s. Now, Here comes a soul who even not know the real score of Manila water shortage then. Of course, it’s business thus it is for a profit. However, if the service provider does not fulfill its promise & still exists, it’s another story!
