Not sure why you want to run it in 1080p. Feels like 720p or 900p is probably better with upscaling? But yeah atleast this proves it can run on the Ally so it's probably possibly to make it run quite well with some tweaks.

this game runs like shit on the ally i just uninstalled it i got it upto 120 fps but the glitchy textures and ghosting was too bad with and with out afmf2 which u need to hit 120 fps also i was able to run at 720p low everything but RAYTRACING ON! had 25-30 fps with RT On and maybe an extra 10-15 fps with it off upto 60 fps ithis is the first game i couldn't dial in to make it run smooth on my ally but i was super impressed with RT performance i think the game is just vey very poorly optimised for PC

see, this is why i don't get a faster gaming handheld than the deck, in end when it comes to really demanding games, they're all way too weak.

this is the ONLY GAME i couldnt dial in to run smooth on the ALLY and thats not the ALLY'S or STEAM DECK's fault for that matter it's just a piss poor PC port

this simply isn't true. i've had a steam deck oled since release and just 2 days ago i got a Z1 extreme rog ally bc I was craving more performance/graphical fidelity + game compatibility and it runs games significantly better. going to sell the OLED as great as it is and i can get by with windows being horrible for handheld bc of asus' custom armory crate interface. this has been the only game that doesn't run so well so it's down to bad optimization, other AAA titles run and look amazing esp vs the deck. it's also not worth playing on handheld because it's way too bright. unfortunately the lighting, and therefore darkness of each scene, seems to be linked to ray tracing which handhelds definitely aren't designed to handle. even if the game ran smoothly, it would ruin the experience to play the game this bright. watch this intro scene on youtube to see what it's supposed to look like and it's a night and day difference, literally

@@chrispatterson7044 wukong is another one that runs equally bad on both devices, star wars outlaws, dragon's dogma 2, or avatar: frontiers of pandora are good examples as well. yeah, the sh2 remake isn't that well optimized and yes, the ally or the legion go are clearly faster than the deck, but what i'm saying is, when it comes to the really taxing stuff, there simply isn't a mobile solution. i have both a legion go and a steam deck and honestly, aside from the detachable controllers i kinda regret the purchase of the go. the screen res. is WAY too high for what the device can handle and if you don't play on native res. it looks kinda trashy and blurred. sure, some games run definitely better, for example my steam deck runs elden ring on a med-high mixture with 30-45fps and my legion go with 40-60 (edit: both in 800p), but they both go sub-30 in certain situations. steam os and their pre-compiled shaders are working wonders for the little deck, the menu is intuitive and everything just works well, meanwhile on the ally and the legion you have to deal with windows.
