Yes, they did. The original creature designer, Masahiro Ito, revised his design. :)

The nurse design has been consistent since it was first shown off in the remake and was worked on by Masahiro Ito, who designed the original. People who complained they weren't erotic enough initially are confusing them with the more revealing and voluptuous Nurse's from Silent Hill Homecoming which Ito himself drew attention to. The remake nurses are faithful to the SH2 design outside of the addition of variants with stockings (arguably sexier). But we have seen others without stocking in more recent gameplay.

@@renemersi5209 Same here. Probably my favorite game of all time, and was my introduction to horror gaming. However, I (unlike many Silent Hill fans) actually love Bloober. Although The Medium was kinda awful and I think that's where the company got a lot of hate from. But anyway, I dig what I see so far. And I made a promise to myself that I am going into this as a complete stand-alone experience. Of course it will not be as good as the original, and I am going to play this without comparing it to that. I wanna allow the game to stand on it's own merits (and faults).
