It's amazing how brad didn't change his habit of telling us parts of his life while playing silent hill. I remember myself enjoying his old walkthrough when he was in certain areas like apartments/school/hospital where it gets super silent. Still our thebestbrad

8:57 oh god they absolutely nailed it !!!! I almost cried, the extreme guilt and sadness in James's eyes and how seductive Maria is but looks like she know more than he thinks is absolutely amazing. Best scene in the game so far. I love it!! Can't beleive they gave us what we had wished for since forever.

I think you missed a segment with Maria talking about the Baldwin mansion, when she goes "hmm..". She talks about the place giving her the creeps and James asks if she has ever been inside. Its a nod to "Born From a Wish" when you get to play as Maria. 😊

Aside of Maria's dress, I belive that was the Motel were Heather and the PI stayed when they went to silent hill in SH 3, Brad actually went into their room and you could see Douglas' hat over the top of the Chair. This game just amazes me even more, what a great remake!

Possibly. Would help explain why mentally he can't remember the last three years. Even tho ppl can loose there memories from trauma alone but having an alcohol addiction makes it all the more likely

15:40 cool detail for those who didn’t notice, this is the same room that the main character Cheryl from Silent Hill 3 stays in the game when she travels there with the detective. You can see the detective’s hat on the chair next to the TV. Awesome detail and I think its cool that James comments on it!

The Pyramid Head fight was in a different area. It was in the metal stairswell you go down before the remake fight. There was water, and you had to survive for a certain amount of time, then he would go down the stairs.

This game holds a special place in my heart with it being one of my first video games I played as a kid. I remember it was Spyro the Dragon, FF7 and then Silent Hill 2, followed by Resident Evil and MGS. It took me a while to complete the story and I had help from a little thing called Gameshark. But I completed it. I’ve thought about picking up this game just for the nostalgia but I think I will just watch you play it. I still remember how it ends. I just can’t remember how Maria played into this whole story. I could guess but I don’t want to risk spoiling it for anyone who didn’t play it back in the day.

Watching you play this and the 1st 3 parts, shows me that you don't remember too much about the original. One thing I remember is that the decisions you make & time to complete all affect the ending. You're wasting too much time on a scavenger hunt while Maria is accompanying you. In the original that causes you to get the "Maria Ending".

You can keep walking down Nathan Ave and explore the bowling alley , Pete’s Bowl i think. I’m typing this before watching the rest of the video so I’m not sure Brad went there after but it’s fun exploring and it has a save point in Pete’s bowling alley as well You also get the lever to the jack out that way from a gas station parking lot
