To clear up the confusion at 43:20, that is a clue on how to find the flashlight. Since you cannot see the flashlight on top of the box with the lights on, the game is giving you a clue to turn off the light swtich. When you do, the flashlight is already on, and will show itself to you. Then you can obviously pick it up.

I noticed that the ambiance of the area, where you were discussing how Heather being tired out, due to her stamina being used up, uses the a few ambiance sounds from Carnivores Cityscvape. More specifically, the ambiance from CC that I mentioned happens in the "Ship" areas of the game. I'm not claiming copyright, just an interesting, coincidental use of sounds. Silent Hill 2 also used the sounds of the lakes/rivers in the first three Carnivores games. I'm assuming that the developers of the Carnivores games either made the original sounds, and/or got them from real-life sources. After which, the devs of Silent Hill 2 & 3 simply found the source of those sounds, or they asked for permission from the developers of the first three Carnivores. Whatever the case, it's an interesting piece of trivia. The developers of the original Carnivores games are from the Ukraine, by the way.

Silent Hill 3, the best in the series. Way better than Silent Hill 2, protagonist is 1,000,000 times better than 2, 1 and all the others. Cheryl “Heather” Mason is the goat, and no other protagonist can hold a candle to her in the Silent Hill series. The game is also the best game.

the first one was ok. but playing it now will piss you off, the player movements are annoying and you get hit by monsters so easily. it was good for its time, konami amazed gamers with the sandbox game play environment. one of the first games of its kind.

***** silent hill 1 was the first i played i got it on the day it came out i have it downloaded on my ps3 now and yes no trophy for the 10 star rank on silent hill 3 but going for that is even more ridiculous as i believe its under 2 hours to complete it i think plus u have to beat every boss under certain times split worm under 2 minutes the missionary under 2 minutes leonard under 3 minutes memory of alessa under 3 minutes and god under 8 minutes plus if u use the special weapons such as the unlimited sub machine gun and the gold and silver pipe it will take stars off your rank which makes it more irritating when i was going for the possesed ending i kept raging cause i kept getting killed by god because i think u can only get the obsessed ending on hard difficulty which was the difficulty i was playing it on when i was going for that ending but i have the platinum trophy for silent hill 3 aswell as 2 but when i got this game i got the silent hill 3 platinum trophy first

i wish people would just say fuck it, and make silent hill games anonymously, and flood the internet with them. silent hill needs a complete rebirth with storytelling cuz the orginals are so good. konami just wont go back to tank controls, and pyramid head for that matter... and independent developers need to anonymously make them now. kinda like cry of fear. but actually silent hill monsters and characters. once the game is out there, it cant be deleted really. as long as one copy exists and keeps being put out there, anonymously lol. fuck konami low key i wanna try myself, to rip the engine from the coding of this game or silent hill 2, and create a new story. but i work 6 days a week and it would just take a really, really long time once you do rip the coding from the game tho, 90% of the work is already done, its just more along the lines of "oh there was a wall here, so now ill just put it there instead, and change the color from tan to black with blood on it or some shit, becase the code for the wall is right here, and the code for blood on walls is there" then of course revamping the characters would take most of your time. but fuck someone do it already. there would be zero cutscenes for these indie ripoffs tho. to me a small price to pay for an originally inspired new silent hill. and on that note i have to say, it really sucks that P.T was cancelled and never coming back.

Calling this scary, ha! I'm sure you've played the first one by now, but this is nothing compared to the first one. And what is it with everyone and Silent Hill 2? It has a fantastic soundtrack, but that's about it. I couldn't care less about James, and all the other characters are completely unnecessary to the plot.
